I created this dusty old gift for my sweetheart. It is based on a daydream I had about what a witch’s typewriter might look like.

The foundation consists of painted encyclopedias. The finger keys are carved from driftwood from the Pacific Ocean. The nails are alligator teeth with letters painted in red acrylic. The background drawing is pen & ink on paper.

The candlestick holders are an addition from Anastacia’s Antiques in Philadelphia, PA.
